Scrim is 39.37” (1 Meter) wide. Limited lengths are available and price per foot is the same regardless of length.  All alkali resistant glass fiber products are manufactured in compliance with ASTM C1666/C 1666M, EN 15422 and under recommendations of PCI and GRCA.

Scrims are oriented continuous fiber fabrics. The continuous fiber is usually yarn or roving. The continuous strands are inter-woven for extra strength and a binder applied to enhance the bond to the cement matrix.

10X10 denotes 10mm (3/8 inch) spacing between strands.

Scrims are particularly used in conjunction with chopped strand reinforced mixes. When they are placed in the tensile regions of the product they significantly increase the flexural strength of the composite.
